BEYUNG VISITS CARMEL STUDIOS

In this collaboration, street artist Beyung Carmel passed by our studios to try out some paint markers and liquid chalk markers on a variety of metal, stone and glass surfaces including metal trays, bricks, and mirrors. He shows off how Carmel paint markers and crayons apply vivid, durable lines of paint to a wide range of materials.

ALEX “GRILS” GRILANC VISITS CARMEL

Alex Grilanc, also known as Grils, is an Australian-born street artist based in Montreal. He visits Carmel’s studio and uses Carmel paint markers and crayons to create a few art pieces. He talks about how he likes the paint’s adhesion to a variety of surfaces including metal, wood and ceramic and how it dries quickly without smudging.

LA MARQUISE DE VILLE-ÉMARD VISIT CARMEL

The visual artist and eco-designer known as La Marquise de Ville-Émard visited Carmel studio to make some art and talk about her craft. She specializes in painting reclaimed objects and is inspired by movement, dance, and organic motifs. She shares what she likes about Carmel’s paint markers and how she uses them to create her unique artwork.

ARTIST AUDREY LACHANCE VISITS CARMEL

Self-taught visual artist Audrey Lachance stops by Carmel’s studio to try out our paint markers and talk about her inspiration. She paints fluid designs across a variety of surfaces and objects. She talks about how Carmel’s paint markers and paint crayons are ideal for applying durable vivid paint to a wide range of materials.

At Carmel, we’re into supporting local art. That’s why every once in a while, we invite a group of talented artists to come by our space and spend the day letting their creative juices flow. We call it the Art Jam, and kicked off the first one with a host of amazing artists from around Montreal.
